BOOK ONE: Dying Was Easy
Zachary Zander, (“ZZ”), is an irreverent smartass emergency physician and a harness race driver. He reluctantly returns home to help his mother and adopted sister save their farm, horses, and their school for special needs children from liquidation and closure.
Many obstacles block his path to success, not the least of which is an attempt to ruin his medical career. When it becomes obvious that he cannot win this battle alone he summons assistance from the three people in the world he knows he can count on.
ZZ, his friends and family go to incredible lengths to accomplish their difficult mission.
